HMIS Part II Training is the second of three trainings prospective HMIS users need to complete in order to have full user access to HMIS.
In Part II Training, users will learn about HMIS functionality and best practices as well as data element definitions. The training is made up of 13 short lessons, each followed by a short quiz. Each quiz can be taken an unlimited number of times and must be passed with a grade of 100% in order to move on to the next lesson.
At the end of HMIS Part II Training, users will be awarded an HMIS Part 2 Training badge! After users successfully complete this training, Agency Administrators are asked to submit an HMIS User Agreement to the HMIS Help Desk. Once the HMIS Help Desk receives the user’s signed agreement, the user will receive their HMIS account login information.
Users have 30 days after completing Part II Training to complete Part III Training. If Part III training is not completed within this time window, the HMIS user's account may be locked.
